Plaza Midwood: Cramer's Pond
A neighborhood that is hip but has homes that have character and charm? That's what I'm talking about today!
My name is Eli Magids and I am a real estate advisor here in Charlotte, North Carolina and surrounding areas of South Carolina, specializing in luxury properties and new home construction. But more importantly, I am your realtor with heart. I'm not just helping you find a house, I am helping you find a home. My gift is people. My profession is finding you a home. Put the two together and we can create the next best part of your life. After this video, you will know more about one of the best neighborhoods here in Charlotte, North Carolina, the neighborhood of Plaza Midwood. And more specifically, the small new subdivision of Cramer's Pond.
Plaza Midwood: Diverse and Eclectic
Plaza Midwood started in 1910 and is considered one of Charlotte's most diverse and eclectic neighborhoods. It is filled with art galleries, restaurants, funky stores. It is laid back and it is very, very trendy. Located just minutes to uptown Charlotte, 20 minutes or so to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, five minutes or so to NoDa, which is another cool neighborhood, and right next to the Charlotte Country Club. And within this Plaza Midwood area is a new neighborhood called Cramer's Pond.
Cramer's Pond is a new development, 15 acres, 37 home sites and it is all being built around an old estate home. This estate home was built in 1938 by a textile tycoon and it is now undergoing renovation. Around this estate home are 36 homes that are going to be built, some of which are built already. They are going to be rustic glam. They're going to be farmhouse style. They're all going to be luxury and they're all going to be custom. There are three or four home builders there currently. Homes are ranging in size from 3,200 square feet up to about 6,000 square feet. Prices are ranging anywhere from 1.1 million up to about $2 million. There are some spec homes already built and the interiors I have to tell you are absolutely stunning and gorgeous, high end stuff. These are some of the nicest, most luxurious homes currently for sale here in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
And, in general, Plaza Midwood's got a ton of brand new construction. The area is popping. Similar to what Cotswold is, old homes are being knocked down, new ones are being built up and the older ones are being completely redone. It's another hot area undergoing tremendous growth. So Cramer's Pond, one of the most stunning new luxury home developments here in the Charlotte area, located within the larger Plaza Midwood neighborhood. One of the best places to live in all of Charlotte, North Carolina.<
